Chichester

In South-East England, Chichester (/ˈtʃɪtʃɪstər/) is a West Sussex city. Control of services is in the hands of Chichester DC and West Sussex CC, there is a city council but it has the powers of a parish council.

To London the A29 joins the A27 miles to the city's east; runs northeast is the A285 beyond and to Petworth; and towards Haslemere the 286 runs northwards, Surrey are roads that give Chichester access to the north. To become Chichester High School, Chichester High School for Boys and Chichester High School for Girls merged.

At Oaklands Park, Chichester City F.C. is the main football club. The Chichester Sharks Flag American Football Club, who are members of the BAFA National League, is in the city.

At Oaklands Park, Chichester Falcons SC play. At New Park, Chichester viewing is the first and only arthouse.

The conservation area that is separate around the Graylingwell Hospital lies further to the north, and to the south, to include part of the canal itself and the canal basin, the Area for Conservation of Chichester has been extended recently.

The Sixth Form of Chichester High School, which is West Sussex's largest Sixth Form include educational institutions. Opened in 2001, Chichester is home to the South Downs Planetarium & Science Centre, which features a program of public star shows in 100-seat theatre.
